Great thank you. Really happy with the furniture. Took a little longer to arrive than expected but we were kept appraised of this and the delivery company were excellent. They unpacked the items and left them in the room of our choice and removed all the packaging. Brilliant-thank you.

Friendly, efficient and good quality
Had a bed delivered yesterday but forgot to book assembly. I was able to book for assembly to be done today. The delivery assembly chaps absolutely charming, friendly and super efficient. The whole purchase process runs smoothly and you receive really accurate delivery times so you can plan your day. Will definitely order furniture again. Highly recommend.

Don’t believe delivery dates…
So disappointed with the Cotswold Company - awful customer care.
Having visited the lovely Godalming store with friendly and helpful staff I ordered 2 pieces of furniture. I have an order confirmation telling me 2 weeks delivery - they have taken my money and a month later after chasing a few times I am told 15/16 weeks. I have called numerous times and now emailed suggesting an alternative colour but nobody calls me back as the person I speak to can’t help me. They only changed item availability online after I chased them! This is totally unacceptable selling practice and not what I expected.
I was planning to order more items for a current project but this has put me off totally.

Another 5 star service
This is my second part of a review. After dealing with the company based in Wolverhampton I headed for the Wednesbury branch with the sole purpose of buying a second chair as Phil the manager had informed Katy from Wolverhampton there was one on display. Phil was busy and said he would be with is as soon as he had finished with his customer. We looked around the store and found the chair. Phil dealt with us and showed us a table that we were interested in it was in good condition with a few marks which Phil removed and we purchased both the table and chair. Pity we couldn’t get another 2 chairs. Phil then asked us to wait a few mins and left. He returned with 2 more chair’s from a delivery that hadn’t long come into the store. We were so grateful as most shops don’t go that extra mile and usually say we don’t have the item you want. He went out of his way for us and we were the most satisfied customers in the world that day.
Is it just those 2 stores or is the Cotswold company policy to employ wonderful staff. We will be 100% be returning to purchase more items.

My daughter ordered a desk and filing…
After initial teething problems re: missing part which left me frustrated, the after care team have to be fair been fantastic and the furniture is good quality. I think we've just been unlucky - but after lugging the furniture up some stairs to a mezzanine I was probably just fed up to find an issue. Thanks guys for the quick turnaround

2nd review still rubbish no update
I am still waiting to receive multiple items. One of which was ordered in Feb 2022. The management have done nothing, I’ve had no contact, no updates nothing. They have my money, I have nothing. How do the owners think this is treating customers fairly?
What I’ve experienced here is utterly disgusting behaviour. I should of been given a full refund by now after 6 months of missing items. But nothing, they don’t respond to mails. Horrible people

Also fobbed off with lame excuse of shipping delay ?
I was lead to believe items British built other companies with similar items can deliver under 1week not 14 weeks which I have no guarantee will not be extended further

Dreadful Accounts, good furniture
Our payment was taken three times a week before an email stated that our goods were in stock but awaiting payment. Trying to get a refund of the two overpayments has been a nightmare. Their system apparently does not allow repayment of the two amounts, wrongly taken, to the credit card from which they were taken. Instead one refund was confirmed as being passed for payment to my bank on July 4th and still not received by 13th July.

Lying on delivery scales
Ordered a table and waited 6 weeks
Ordered chairs agreeing to wait 15/16 weeks which was a bit much but I made arrangements as these matched and I was willing to wait this amount of time.
Now the date just keeps getting pushed, with no other remark but supply chain issues.
They write compensation will be offered on delivery, ok but what compensation? Does it even make it worth waiting or do I cancel my order...
Template emails that offer little to no insight to me the person who's money they have.
So basically I have a table but no chairs which makes the company look a bit of a joke when people ask about it.
Was looking to buy additional furnishings but might be quicker to qualify as a tradesman and make them myself at this point...

Everything from being able to view the four pieces of furniture via a shop video link to unwrapping them this experience has been 5 star. Goods were of high quality well packaged and delivered with a smile on the day I wanted. Drawers had 2 sets of handles to choose from..white or antique brass. I chose brass to match other fittings in my bedroom. I would have preferred runners on the dressing table drawers as on the filing cabinet but otherwise perfect.

Over £1k payment made & still no delivery over 6 months later
Original post: Absolutely awful experience dealing with Cotswold Co so far. I wish I had read the previous reviews before purchasing so I could conclude it's not worth the hassle. Cotswold Co took payment of over £1k at the beginning of Jan 2022 for a bookcase but we still haven't received the product over 6 months later. Multiple delivery dates have been given to us and all have been missed. The increasingly delayed delivery dates have only ever been communicated to us after we have reached out to ask for an update on delivery following a missed date. We have now been told that expected delivery is end of September 2022. But how can we trust that this is true when all previous delivery dates have been missed? If the customer service team take note of this post, we would appreciate it if you could please get in touch to expedite delivery & offer appropriate compensation. Otherwise, a full refund plus appropriate compensation for inconvenience and lost bank interest.
Update: Cotswold Co got in touch to provide a few options.
Bought the Cerney outdoor table set…
Bought the Cerney outdoor table set last summer and it's already falling apart. Customer Service has been a nightmare to deal with. Please think twice about buying this product as it's had a lot of negative feedback and the company do not accept it's their issue - suggesting it's to do with maintenance of the product.
